Will McPhail was the deserving winner of the Cartoon Trusts’ Under 30 Cartoonist of the Year Award 2013. An established wildlife artist, who lives in Lancashire, Will has also managed to carve out a very successful career as a satirical cartoonist, using his sense of humour and draftsmanship to great effect with several successful commissions for The New Statesman and Private Eye. We were delighted that he took up the gauntlet of an original commission for Castleacre and we will be publishing his cartoon for us in Spring 2014 – and as with all good cartoons it’s likely to strike a chord particularly with those who are passed the 30 mark. If you  can’t wait till then and would like to see some of his brilliant cartoons visit www.willmcphail.co.uk/cartoons/
