Mark Hewlett

Mark has worked in the insurance industry for twenty-five years starting with Sedgwick Lloyd’s Underwriting Agents before joining Jardine Insurance Brokers where he set up a research company that was later acquired by Moody’s Investor Services. He has been involved in many areas of insurance from private clients to private capital and has travelled extensively throughout Europe and the USA.

He specialises in private client insurance for Irish houses, castles & estates and has close links with Lloyd’s and other specialist insurers. He and his wife run Kilmokea, a former Georgian Rectory, that opens its doors to the public along with the award winning gardens. Mark is presently Chairman of the ‘Hidden Ireland’ association as well as ‘Hook Tourism’ and sits on the board of ‘Houses, Castles & Gardens’.
